Check your Sainsbury's gift card balance
Sainsbury's does not have a public checker where you type in a card number, but there are three quick ways to see what is left. Here they are.
Register the card online
Register your gift card or eGift Card on Sainsbury's card management site. Once it is registered you can sign in to see the balance whenever you need it.

Can I check my Sainsbury's gift card balance online?
Not by simply typing in a card number. Sainsbury's asks you to register the card first, and the balance is then shown when you sign in. If you would rather not register, the automated phone line on 0800 636262 and any Sainsbury's till can both check it for you.
Does a Sainsbury's gift card expire?
Sainsbury's says any remaining balance needs to be spent within 24 months of the last transaction on the card. Using the card keeps that window rolling.
Where do I find my gift card number and PIN?
On a physical card the number and PIN are printed on the back. For an eGift Card, both are in the email you received when the card was delivered.
